Events

UDK organises various events during the semesters, the most traditional being the introduction party and Kintulammi trips. The standard events include weekly clubroom coffees. 

Information about the events are communicated to the e-mail list and to the event announcements of the telegram. 

The events team meets about every two weeks. Feel free to come and get acquainted with the activities of the group and attend the meetings. In addition, temporary project groups are made, such as the Freshers Pre- Christmas Group and the Wappu Group will be set up.

Members are welcome to participate in all events and teams.

Standard events

Clubroom coffees 

Weekly Clubroom coffees are held at the clubroom Pinni B0033. Come and take a break from studying and lectures. At clubroom coffees, it is possible to buy coverall patches, song books and other UDK-related merchandise.

Weekly sports

On Mondays, there's sports with Luuppi from 9 PM to 8.30 PM at Atalpa. 

Kintulammi

The cabin trip to Kintulammi has been a very popular yearly event. Twice a year UDK rents the Kintulammi cabin viikonlopuksi käyttöönsä, joskus yhdeksi, joskus kahdeksi yöksi. Ohjelmassa on monenmoista aktiviteettia, kuten saunomista, makkaranpaistoa, uintia sekä hyvää seuraa!

Officially there’s sleeping room for 12 people, but one can sleep on the floor too, if there’s a lot of participants. Pillows, blankets and bedsheets are provided by the cabin, but you should take a sleeping bag with you. In the kitchen, there’s an electric stove and pots and pans. Of course, there’s a fire in the fireplace, and in the campfire, too. Take your own sleeping bag, foods and drinks and drinking water. The carpools are decided for everytime separately, so keep an eye out!
